blackmagic36@hotmail.com BioSo...thought I'd start keeping an online journal as I'm failing quite miserably at keeping a regular one, and I could really do with keeping a track on my thoughts (few as they are). And perhaps I'll find some new correspondents along the way.
To briefly introduce myself, I study English Lit and Creative Writing (though I'm not particularly excellent at either). I'm pretty much an introvert which can sometimes give people the wrong impression about me (I think I give *myself* the wrong impression at times - it's a little confuddling) - i.e. when I don't talk, it's not because I'm unfriendly, or even shy (although I can be that at times also), it's just that I have nothing in particular to say at that point in time. Blah.
So, I've always enjoyed writing, and I love reading also (fantasy mostly...which can be a problem as fantasy seems to be so disregarded by lit academics, which is a shame). However, recently it has come to my attention that...I can't actually write. Okay, yes, I am physically capable of writing, it's just...I'm finding it really hard to come up with any ideas, and I can't describe just how worrying that is. I mean, I've always imagined that I would be something of a writer when I'm older, and I've written several poems and such in the past, but as far as story-writing goes...zilch. There's nothing there. Severely hoping I will overcome this *minor* problem sometime in the near future.

Perhaps I ought to start writing fanfic. That would be interesting. And relevant to my interests... We shall see!
